Risk evaluation
Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in the FL SWITCH 2xxx, FL SWITCH TSN 23xx and FL SWITCH 59xx firmware prior to version 3.53. One of these (CVE-2026-22317) enables an attacker to execute system commands as root user on the device. Five other vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-22316, CVE-2026-22318, CVE-2026-22319, CVE-2026-22320 and CVE-2026-22321) are related to Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, which partly limit the device's functionality. Another vulnerability (CVE-2026-22322) relates to reflected cross-site scripting in the web-based management of the device. And one vulnerability (CVE-2026-22323) relates to Cross‑Site Request Forgery in the web-based management of the device. All vulnerabilities have been resolved in firmware version 3.53.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
Phoenix Contact strongly recommends to upgrade to firmware 3.53 which addresses this vulnerability and is available for download for all affected devices.

Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability on EcoStruxure™ Foxboro DCS
Risk evaluation
Schneider Electric is aware of a vulnerability in its EcoStruxure™ Foxboro DCS Control Software on Foxboro DCS workstations and servers. Control Core Services and all runtime software, like FCPs, FDCs, and FBMs, are not affected. The [EcoStruxure™ Foxboro DCS](https://www.se.com/ww/en/product-range/63680-ecostruxure-foxboro-dcs/) product is an innovative family of fault-tolerant, highly available control components, which consolidates critical information and elevates staff capabilities to ensure flawless, continuous plant operation. Failure to apply the remediation provided below may risk deserialization of untrusted data, which could result in loss of confidentiality, integrity and potential remote code execution on the compromised workstation.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
Version CS 8.1 of EcoStruxure™ Foxboro DCS includes a fix for this vulnerability and is available through https://buyautomation.se.com/ CS 8.1 requires FX-V3 licenses, standard upgrade procedures apply. A reboot is required for workstations and servers. Depending on the existing system version, online upgrade without production interruption might be possible. We recommend you work with your local Field Service Representative or Technical Service Consultant for further information.

CODESYS Installer - Possible Privilege Escalation
Risk evaluation
The CODESYS Installer is affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability. Due to a race condition, a local attacker with limited privileges can replace the verified downloaded setup before execution. Because the update process runs with administrator privileges, a malicious application can be executed with elevated rights. The attack requires the legitimate user to confirm the self‑update prompt for the CODESYS Installer itself or to initiate an installation of a CODESYS Development System. The update process for CODESYS Add-Ons is not affected by this issue.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
Update the following product to version 2.6.1.0. * CODESYS Installer The CODESYS Installer as well as the CODESYS Development System can be downloaded from the CODESYS Store. Alternatively, as well as for all other products, you will find further information on obtaining the software update in the CODESYS Update area https://www.codesys.com/download/.

Risk evaluation
Starting with Festo Automation Suite (FAS) version 2.8.0.138, the suite is delivered only with a connector to Codesys, rather than including Codesys directly. Prior to this version, Codesys was bundled within the FAS installation. From version 2.8.0.138 onwards, customers are required to download and install Codesys independently. This change impacts the handling of security vulnerabilities (CVEs) related to Codesys. Any Codesys-related security issues must now be addressed by the customer through their separate Codesys installation. The FAS itself includes only the connector component, which is maintained and updated within the suite. Please ensure that Codesys is kept up to date independently to mitigate any potential security risks associated with the Codesys software.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
Starting from Festo Automation Suite version 2.8.0.138, Codesys is no longer bundled with the suite and must be downloaded and installed separately by the customer. To mitigate this vulnerability customers are advised to: Download the latest, patched version of Codesys directly from the official Codesys website. Follow the installation and update instructions provided by Codesys to ensure all security fixes are applied. Regularly monitor Codesys security advisories and apply updates promptly. Maintain the Festo Automation Suite connector up to date by installing FAS updates as released by Festo.

A current analysis confirms that the identified vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-67109 and CVE-2023-24011) do not affect SICK picoScan150 and SICK picoScan120. Both vulnerabilities relate exclusively to certificate-based security features of ROS 2 / DDS, which are not supported on SICK picoScan150 and SICK picoScan120 devices and cannot be enabled by customers. At this time, there is no indication of any potential risk to SICK picoScan150 and SICK picoScan120 related to these two vulnerabilities.

A vulnerability has been identified in the CODESYS Control runtime system, which includes an abstraction layer designed to ensure compatibility across different operating systems. This layer is used both by affected CODESYS products and by applications running on the PLC. The platform-specific adaptation of this abstraction layer for Linux and QNX contains a flaw in the SysSocket implementation. Due to incorrect internal handling and depending on how the caller interacts with the affected function, the issue can lead to an out-of-bounds read. An unauthenticated attacker may be able to exploit this vulnerability via socket-based communication, potentially causing a crash of the corresponding communication task. Additionally, also clients such as the PLCHandler running on Linux or QNX may be affected if they connect to a malicious server that triggers the flaw. Successful exploitation requires the attacker to win a race condition, which increases the complexity of the attack. Note: All platforms other than Linux and QNX are not affected.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
As the flaw resides in the SysSocketSelect() implementation, which has been switched to a poll()-based approach by default since version 3.5.21.0, the following setting can be added to the configuration file of the affected product (e.g., CODESYSControl.cfg) to revert to the select()-based implementation: [SysSocket] LinuxSelectPoll=1 Note: On Linux select() is limited to less than 1024 file descriptors.

A vulnerability in the CODESYS Control runtime system's CmpVisuServer component allows attackers to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) by sending special request to the CODESYS Web- or remote Target Visu. The issue is triggered by an internal read access using a pointer of wrong type. Only CODESYS Control runtime systems and PLCs based on the CODESYS Runtime Toolkit that include the CmpVisuServer component are impacted. In the case of CODESYS Web Visu, the vulnerability can only be exploited if the web server is running. When the web server starts depends on the startup configuration: By default, it is only running if the PLC executes application code that includes a visualization.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
