An optional package of the TwinCAT 3 XAR installs the TwinCAT 3 HMI Server on a device. It provides a server configuration page which can be accessed by administrative users only. When such an administrator accesses the server configuration page it is possible to upload arbitrary content into the CUSTOM_CSS field which is then persisted on the device and later returned and rendered with each login and error page. Please note that administrators have the access rights to modify any content on the HMI server, for example, via the server configuration page. Therefore, administrators would have to act maliciously to exploit this vulnerability.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
Please update to a recent version of the affected components.

FactoryViews bundles many third-party applications which are used in background processes to provide the software's features. From time to time, vulnerabilities in these bundled applications are discovered. These are typically fixed in newer versions of FactoryViews by updating the bundled applications. FactoryViews versions up to and including 1.5.2 contain around 200 such vulnerabilities listed in this advisory.Version 1.6.0 is a security rollup release which includes updates to all bundled applications and fixes these vulnerabilities. At this time, FactoryViews Lite cannot be updated beyond version 1.1. FactoryViews 1.7 unifies the non-Lite and Lite versions and fixes these vulnerabilities for users of FactoryViews Lite.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
FactoryViews (non-Lite): Upgrade to FactoryViews 1.6.0. See the upgrade guide for information on how to upgrade. FactoryViews Lite: Upgrade to FactoryViews 1.7.0. See the upgrade guide for information on how to upgrade.

The vulnerability CVE-2025-41726 (NN-2025-0074) allows an authenticated remote user to execute arbitrary commands on the device. This can be exploited over the web UI or via API. In one case the execution of the arbitrary command happens within a privileged process. The vulnerability CVE-2025-41727 (NN-2025-0075) allows a local user with low privileges on the device to bypass the authentication mechanism of the UI and send commands to a privileged process which it executes on behalf of that user but with higher privileges. This way the local user can escalate privileges. The vulnerability CVE-2025-41728 (NN-2025-0076) allows an authenticated remote user to cause an out-of-bounds read operation within a specific service process which runs on the device. The read operation might copy sensitive information from the memory of the specific service into a response message which is then provided to the user but the user cannot choose which information is disclosed.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
Please update to a recent version of the affected components or update the complete operating system image. Operating system images are available on request from Beckhoff's service (service@beckhoff.com). The setup / installer for Windows 10 and 11 are available on request from Beckhoff's service also.

SICK has identified a 3rd party vulnerability (CVE-2025-55093) in the nanoScan3 and microScan3. Only specific variants within the microScan3 and nanoScan3 families are affected by CVE-2025-55093. The underlying issue in the NetX Duo networking module could, under specific conditions, cause the device to enter a safe error state that requires a restart. SICK recommends applying the mitigation for CVE-2025-55093.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
Ensure that an IP address is configured or assigned via DHCP and that the network is properly secured against unauthorized access so that only trusted entities have access to the devices. Furthermore, you should apply the following General Security Measures when operating the product to mitigate the associated security risk. The collected resources ”SICK Operating Guidelines” and ”ICS-CERT recommended practices on Industrial Security” could help to implement the general security practices.

Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in the FL SWITCH 2xxx firmware prior to version 3.50. Two of these (CVE-2025-41692 and CVE-2025-41696) enable an attacker to access the device's file system. Two other vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-41693 and CVE-2025-41694) are related to Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, which partly limit the device's functionality. Another vulnerability (CVE-2025-41697) allows an unauthenticated physical attacker to access a login shell via an undocumented UART port. Furthermore, there are multiple vulnerabilities relating to reflected cross-site scripting in the web-based management of the device. All vulnerabilities have been resolved in firmware version 3.50.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
Phoenix Contact strongly recommends to upgrade to firmware 3.50 which addresses this vulnerability and is available for download for all affected devices.

Getroffen sectoren
Risk evaluation
A vulnerability in Wibu-Systems CodeMeter (up to version 7.60b) affects multiple Endress+Hauser products. This flaw can lead to a heap buffer overflow, which may allow remote code execution under certain conditions.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
If possible, configure CodeMeter to run in client-only mode. If server mode is required, restrict access to authorized clients by implementing an access control list. For Proline Promag 800 OPC UA Connectivity, CodeMeter operates as a server only during license activation. Installation and license activation are managed by Endress+Hauser. If a customer performs manual license activation, it is strongly recommended to limit network access to necessary clients only by using firewalls or equivalent security measures.

Several high severity vulnerabilities in CODESYS V3 affecting Festo products could lead to Remote Code Execution or Denial of Service.
Mitigatiesamenvatting
As part of a security strategy, Festo recommends the following general defense measures to reduce the risk of exploits: - Use controllers and devices only in a protected environment to minimize network exposure and ensure that they are not accessible from outside - Use firewalls to protect and separate the control system network from other networks - Use VPN (Virtual Private Networks) tunnels if remote access is required Activate and apply user management and password features - Use encrypted communication links - Limit the access to both development and control system by physical means, operating system features, etc. - Protect both development and control system by using up to date virus detecting solutions Festo strongly recommends to minimize and protect network access to connected devices with state of the art techniques and processes. For a secure operation follow the recommendations in the product manuals.
